Terry W. Forsberg, DDS, earned his degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, California. Completing a continuum of courses (245 hours of post graduate, hands-on education) at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), Dr. Forsberg is one of very few dentists in the world to have achieved one of the highest level of training available in cosmetic dentistry, neuromuscular dentistry and TMJ (temporomandibular joint disorder). After completing these courses and passing a written exam, he was honored with the status of “LVI Fellow”.

Dr. Forsberg educates local dentists and healthcare professionals through lectures on subjects relating to cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry. With over 30 years of experience in the field of dentistry, Dr. Forsberg has lived in Aptos for 30 years and has been the trusted dentist of choice to over 5,000 patients throughout the Aptos, Monterey and Salinas areas of California.

At Advanced Smile Designs, Dr. Forsberg's dental practice, he is the first and only dentist in mid-county to provide neuromuscular dentistry services to his patients. He is also one of the few dentists in the area that is trained in oral conscious sedation and is the first dentist in the area to offer the BriteSmile method of teeth whitening.
